Product detailed description
At the heart of your home cinema
Krovatar KBU-300 is a compact 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player for film lovers who want to get the most from their physical media collection. Support for HDR, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, immersive surround sound formats, broad disc compatibility and a quality disc mechanism make it a capable foundation for a modern home cinema.
4K Ultra HD
High-resolution pictures with support for HDR, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
Cinematic sound
Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio and bitstream output for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround formats.
Bluetooth
Enjoy convenient wireless listening through compatible Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
Broad compatibility
UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, SACD, DVD-Audio, DVD, VCD, CD and other optical media.
More detail. Richer contrast. A more natural picture.
The KBU-300 supports 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and modern high dynamic range formats. HDR and HDR10+ bring out a greater range between the darkest and brightest areas of the picture, while Dolby Vision provides even finer control over brightness, contrast and colour with compatible content and displays.
The result is a picture with greater depth, finer detail and more definition in both bright and dark scenes.
Built around a quality disc mechanism
At the heart of the player is an MTK8581 system chip paired with a Panasonic disc mechanism. This combination is designed for fast disc loading, stable playback and reliable compatibility, including high-capacity Ultra HD Blu-ray discs.
The KBU-300 goes beyond Blu-ray films. It also plays a wide range of music discs and legacy optical formats, allowing it to take the place of several separate players in your system.
The picture is only half the experience
The KBU-300 supports Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. With a compatible AV receiver, it also offers bitstream output for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, making it a suitable source for a full multichannel home cinema system.
video and audio
dedicated audio output
Separate paths for picture and sound
Two HDMI outputs let you send video directly to a TV or projector while routing sound through a dedicated HDMI audio output to an AV receiver or processor.
This is particularly useful when combining a modern 4K TV with an older AV receiver, or whenever you prefer to keep the video and audio signal paths separate.
Your own private cinema, via Bluetooth
Built-in Bluetooth with Qualcomm aptX support lets you connect compatible wireless headphones or speakers. Enjoy a late-night film without switching on the full speaker system or disturbing the rest of the household.
A capable player that leaves room for living
The KBU-300 has a compact aluminium chassis that combines a sturdy build with a clean, minimalist look. Just 320 mm wide, it fits easily into modern AV setups where there is no room for a conventional full-width component.
