Choosing recordings and test discs
Check the medium's format and compatibility with your player before buying. Vinyl requires a turntable, while some specialist optical formats need a suitable transport and decoding support. Follow the supplied instructions and recommended volume for test recordings. For music releases, also compare the artist, edition and contents.
