Nordost Frey 2 is the second series in the reference Norse 2 range. The Frey 2 cables retain the technological elements accompanying the highly rated Leif series while introducing the latest technologies already used in the ultra-reference Valhalla and Odin series. The technologically excellent principles of Dual Mono-Filament with patented specially designed MoonGlo connectors contribute to enhancing cable performance and consequently strengthen your system, allowing you to enjoy a high-end audio experience within a reasonable price range.

The Nordost Frey 2 USB cable is a high-end solution for top-notch modern hi-fi audio setups using streamers or PCs, maintaining a wide dynamic range and precise timing for the highest quality recordings. The Frey 2 features a high-quality construction of the finest silver-plated signal conductors made from OFC (99.99999%) copper. The Frey 2 cable utilizes Nordost's patented Micro Mono-Filament FEP insulation technology, which reduces cable capacitance and increases signal speed and bandwidth. The manufacturing processes of this high-end cable meet the strictest procedures, with each conductor precisely wound to match the unique hybrid geometry of twisted/untwisted pairs to meet the highest standards up to USB 3.0. The cable conductors are then shielded with a double layer of braid and shielding foil to eliminate unwanted EMI and RFI. Before completion, the cable is mechanically cut to tuned lengths, reducing high-frequency impedance resonance.
